See China Travel is an independent travel website run by a small team of writers and editors based in Hong Kong. Our guides are published under the bylines of our two core authors:

How We Create Our Guides
We are transparent about how our content is made, because we think travelers deserve to know:
- Research-first writing. Every guide starts with desk research from authoritative sources — official tourism boards, government websites, transportation operators, and local knowledge.
- First-hand experience where possible. Several of our itineraries are based on trips our writers have personally taken. Where a guide is researched rather than experienced first-hand, we say so in the article.
- Human editing and fact-checking. Each article is reviewed and edited before publication, and re-checked when we learn that prices, schedules, or policies have changed.
- Continuous updates. Each article shows its publish date and latest update date. Travel policies, ticket prices, and opening hours can change without notice, so we always recommend confirming important details with official sources before your trip.
